The weather on Wednesday in Primorye has formed under the influence of an upper-level trough. According to the forecast from Primhydromet (the Primorsky Hydrometeorological Center), light snow is expected in some areas of the region, which has delayed ice formation and slippery conditions on roads.
Primorye meteorologists clarified that on the afternoon of January 28, the weather will be dominated by a north wind, moderate, with gusts up to strong on the coast. Air temperatures across the region will range from -12 to -17 °C (10.4 to 1.4 °F), and in coastal areas from -6 to -11 °C (21.2 to 12.2 °F).
In Vladivostok, meteorologists forecast variable cloudiness without precipitation. The north wind will be moderate and will strengthen during the daytime. The air temperature will rise to -12 to -14 °C (10.4 to 6.8 °F).
In Ussuriysk, variable cloudiness without precipitation is also expected. In the first half of the day, the wind will be weak; in the second half, a moderate north wind. Thermometer readings throughout the day will show up to -12 to -14 °C (10.4 to 6.8 °F).
In Nakhodka, forecasters did not predict precipitation, but variable cloudiness will persist on the coast. A moderate north wind will blow throughout the day, with maximum air temperatures reaching -9 to -11 °C (15.8 to 12.2 °F).
