Yekaterinburg taxi driver names city's most problematic districts

Taxi driver Alisher Abitjonov, who became famous on social media thanks to his blog, has named the most problematic districts in Yekaterinburg and explained where, in his professional experience, the worst traffic jams are (spoiler: it«s not about Akademitchesky).

The driver currently works in the «premier» category. This is the most expensive tariff with premium cars, a class above «business». But even here, according to Alisher, there are sometimes problematic passengers. And most often they order taxis from the same districts.
In a conversation with E1.RU, Alisher admitted that he tries to avoid trips from Sortirovka and Uralmash. He explained his dislike for these districts as follows:
«They say the districts are no different. But they are different — in terms of people. The clientele there… If, for example, I take an order from Uralmash, out of five trips, in two the passengers will definitely have beer. And they ask to smoke or drink beer in the car.»
When asked where in Yekaterinburg there are the most traffic jams, the taxi driver answered unequivocally: the center — and he stood up for Akademitchesky.
«Everyone says that Akademitchesky is a bad district. No, the most problematic streets are when our hockey matches start. It happens that you can«t get from Lenin Street, roughly speaking, even to the Ice Arena. The trip takes 40–50 minutes. Recently I picked up a client from Vostochnaya Street, when Avtomobilist was playing against Sibir. We got there in an hour and ten minutes. We barely made it by the end of the second period. In Akadem, there are traffic jams, but they move, it»s not the most problematic district,» Alisher said.
Earlier, the premium taxi driver told how much money taxi drivers usually earn per shift in Yekaterinburg, and shared a story about his biggest tips.
Before that, another Yekaterinburg taxi driver also told how much he earns behind the wheel, and honestly shared all the nuances of the profession.
