Omsk to Host Student Day Celebrations with Multiple Events

A sports-themed Student Night is set to take place in Omsk on January 31, starting at 5 p.m., with a concert, prize giveaways, and free skate rentals.

Today, January 31, a sports student night will be held at «Winter Lubinsky». The events were announced by the regional government. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Omsk residents can enjoy a concert program, and at 6 p.m., a prize draw will begin. City dwellers can receive branded tubing, a certificate for purchasing skates, or a smart speaker. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., a sports program will be shown on the skating rink.

«Young people presenting a student ID can rent skates for free and take a ride, test their skills in winter karting, and warm up with non-alcoholic mulled wine,» the government noted.

Recall that the celebration, which was originally scheduled for January 24, was postponed due to severe frosts.

Earlier, NGS55.RU reported that Omsk residents complained about the condition of «Winter Lubinsky». According to them, it is very slippery there.
