Murmansk Cook Shares Fluffy Kefir Berry Pie Recipe

Try making it — it«s quick and tasty
A Murmansk resident, Olga Olegovna, has shared a simple recipe for a homemade berry pie. It requires neither complicated ingredients nor much time: the dough base consists of kefir, eggs, flour, and vegetable oil, and any berries can be used for the filling. Olga Olegovna made the pie with fresh blackcurrants.

Ingredients

3 eggs;

100 g sugar;

200–250 ml kefir (2.5%);
120 ml vegetable oil;
300 g flour;
10 g baking powder;
300 g berries — fresh or frozen.
How to Make It
Beat the eggs with the sugar until smooth.
Add the kefir and vegetable oil, and mix.
Sift in the flour and baking powder. Knead into a smooth batter without lumps.
Dust the berries lightly with flour and gently fold them into the batter. If using frozen berries, there is no need to thaw them beforehand.
Pour the batter with the berries into a baking pan or onto a baking sheet. Bake at 170–180 degrees Celsius (338–356 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 40 minutes. Check doneness with a wooden skewer: it should come out of the batter dry.
Baking time may vary slightly depending on the oven, so it is best to rely on its settings and on the pie«s readiness.
