Semenovich on Venice restaurant dinner bill

Anna Semenovich«s holiday in Italy brought not only beautiful views but also a less-than-welcoming reception. In her personal blog, the singer recounted an unpleasant evening at the famous Venetian restaurant Terrazza Danieli.

Semenovich arrived there with a group and, judging by the size of the order, the guests were not planning to skimp on dinner. According to the singer, the bill came to about 100,000 rubles (roughly $1,100 at current rates). However, the substantial sum did not help the group linger at their table as long as they wanted.

Anna claims the waiters brought the bill themselves, even though the guests were not yet planning to leave. After the group expressed bewilderment, the staff made it fairly clear that it was time to end the evening.

“First they brought the bill; we hadn«t asked for it. We were like, ‘Did we ask for the bill?’ They said, ‘People are already leaving, it»s time for you too.’ Then they turned off the music and turned on the lights. Even though it wasn«t even 11 p.m. yet,” Semenovich recalled.

For the group, this was the final hint that, from the staff«s point of view, dinner had dragged on, despite the fairly early hour.

Before that, Semenovich«s trip had been far calmer. Together with her fiancé Denis Schreer, she traveled around Europe for several weeks. First the couple visited Frankfurt, where the businessman»s parents live, then headed to Königstein and Baden-Baden.

After Germany, Italian cities and resorts appeared on the itinerary. Anna and Denis visited Florence, Pisa and Forte dei Marmi, and the trip to Venice ultimately was memorable also for the restaurant embarrassment with a rather pricey bill.

By the way, during her holiday Semenovich had already drawn attention with her vacation photos. The singer appeared in a leopard-print swimsuit and also explained why she is not going to conform to other people«s ideas of an ideal figure.
