Towards the end of the week, weather in the Orenburg region will be shaped by an area of high pressure. At the same time, the extreme western districts will be near the passage of an atmospheric front, where light snow is expected. On Sunday, the ridge of the Siberian anticyclone will leave our region and give way to a cyclonic vortex. This will manifest as snow and wet snow with moderate wind, and air temperatures will be comfortable for this time of year, according to the Privolzhskoye UGMS (Volga Regional Hydrometeorological Service).

31 January

During the day in Orenburg Oblast, cloudy with clearings. In some western areas, light snow and wet snow. In central and eastern districts: fog, black ice, and rime. Wind from the southeast, 5-10 meters per second (11-22 mph). The average air temperature will be -3 to -8°C (27 to 18°F).

On Sunday, cloudy with clearings. In some western districts, light snow and wet snow. In the east and central part of the region, fog again, as well as rime and black ice. Wind will blow from the southeast at 3-8 meters per second (7-18 mph), with gusts up to 14 meters per second (31 mph) in the west. Thermometers on average will show -4 to -9°C (25 to 16°F).
