Popular blogger-taxi driver Alisher Abitzhonov, who works on a premium rate, shared professional observations on the specifics of Yekaterinburg«s districts. According to him, he tries to avoid some districts of the city due to frequent problems with passengers.

The driver particularly dislikes trips from Uralmash and Sortirovka. «For example, if I take some [order from] Uralmash, out of five trips, in two, passengers will definitely have beer. And they ask to smoke or drink beer in the car,» explained Alisher in a conversation with E1.RU.
The driver named the districts from which he prefers to decline trips.
Answering a question about traffic jams, the taxi driver noted that the most difficult in terms of congestion is the central part of the city, especially during hockey matches. He defended the often-criticized Academichesky district.
«Everyone says that Academichesky [is a bad district]. No, the most problematic streets are when our hockey matches start,» declared the driver. He gave an example where a trip from Vostochnaya Street during an Avtomobilist game took over an hour. In his opinion, traffic in Academichesky moves, so he doesn«t consider this district the most problematic.
