Police identify victims of horrific accident on Tyumen highway
Law enforcement agencies have identified the victims of the traffic accident on the Tyumen highway. Let us remind you that the tragedy occurred on January 30 in the Uvat district, where a Volvo truck and a Lada Granta collided.
«Preliminarily, a 32-year-old driver, operating a passenger car, entered the oncoming lane. As a result of the accident, the driver and a 39-year-old passenger of the Lada died. The circumstances of the road accident are being clarified,» the press service of the traffic police (GIBDD) reports.
It is known that the deceased are residents of the settlement of Salym in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
Let us remind you that this accident occurred at the 500th kilometer of the highway Tyumen–Khanty-Mansiysk. The weather complicated traffic on the road.
Earlier we wrote that surveillance cameras in Tyumen captured horrific footage of a woman running across the road. In an attempt to cross the roadway without a pedestrian crossing, she tripped and fell under the wheels of a car. From the impact, the woman flew several meters and miraculously remained alive.
