Stay Away from Windows: Drone Threat Declared in Krasnodar Region

On the morning of January 28, a drone threat was declared in Krasnodar Region. The notification from the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) arrived at 09:29. There is a threat of falling UAV debris, and in such cases, people are asked to call emergency services at 112.
«If you are in a building — move away from windows, take shelter in a room without glazing (corridor, pantry). If you are outside — take shelter in the nearest building, a protected room (basement, underground shelter) or in folds of the terrain,» the message said.
According to the Ministry of Defense, from 07:00 to 09:00, one UAV was shot down over Kuban. Overnight, 24 drones were destroyed over the region, another six were intercepted over the Black Sea waters, and three over the Azov Sea.
Recall that overnight, residents of the region woke up to powerful explosion sounds. There was unrest in the village of Yelizavetinskaya, the settlement of Yablonovsky, as well as in the Seversky district. In the latter, according to the operational headquarters, four houses were damaged due to falling drone debris. There are no casualties. Also, overnight, the Crimean Bridge was closed for more than 7 hours. As a result, trains are delayed in Kuban, according to the North Caucasus Railway (SKZhD). Passengers were promised to be provided with food and water.
