Prosecutors Probe Voronezh Father Over Rope Balcony Incident

An intoxicated man allegedly lowered his son on a rope from a balcony on the seventh floor in Voronezh. The information was published on January 28 by the Telegram channel Mash.
According to the channel, the man was drinking with friends when he decided to entertain the child in this way. On a cable, he lowered the boy down several floors and then pulled him back onto the balcony.
When exactly the incident occurred is unknown. In the recording, people are dressed in light summer clothing, but precipitation resembling snow is visible in the frame. Moreover, the address is not specified.
The regional prosecutor«s office has already taken an interest in the information. They are checking whether it corresponds to reality. If so, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of the parents and the bodies of the prevention system. If grounds are present, measures of prosecutorial response will be taken.
UPD. The verification of information about the incident is also being conducted by the regional departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) and the Investigative Committee (SK). The Investigative Committee reported that the video might have been made not in Voronezh—it is being circulated in other regions as well.
