Head-on collision in Ulyanovsk Region hospitalizes two drivers
Two cars were involved in a head-on collision on a highway in Ulyanovsk Region.
On January 29, a head-on collision between two cars occurred on Mullovskoye Highway in Dimitrovgrad, according to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate. Preliminary reports indicate that a 30-year-old driver of an «Audi A4» lost control on the slippery road, causing the car to skid into the oncoming lane. It collided with a «Lada Kalina» driven by a 36-year-old man. As a result, both drivers sustained injuries and were hospitalized.
Traffic police officers once again remind motorists of the need to exercise caution on winter roads — reduce speed and avoid sudden maneuvers.
Recall that on January 11 at half past midnight on the Alekseevskoye-Vysoky Kolok highway in the Melekessky district, a 23-year-old driver died. Preliminary reports suggest that the young man, driving a «VAZ-211540», entered the oncoming lane and collided with a «Volvo» car. The motorist sustained injuries, was hospitalized, but died in the hospital.
