The main New Year«s fir tree in Tomsk will start to be dismantled on February 10; on the same day, the holiday illumination on Novo-Sobornaya Square will be turned off. This was reported to NGS70.RU by Deputy Mayor — Head of the Department of Road Activities and Improvement Denis Khafizov.
According to him, the main Tomsk fir tree, which stands on Novo-Sobornaya Square, will be dismantled on February 10. On the same day, the New Year«s illumination there will go out.
«On the streets, the holiday banners and consoles are already not lit, but the main square will delight Tomsk residents with the New Year»s mood until February 10,« explained Denis Khafizov.
As for the ice towns, they will continue to operate as long as weather conditions permit.
