Head of Russian Investigative Committee Orders Criminal Case

According to the thermometer, the temperature in the kindergarten is no higher than 17 degrees Celsius (63°F).
Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin has instructed regional investigators to open a criminal case due to the cold in kindergartens in the settlement of Podgornoye.
As reported in the Telegram channel of the regional Investigative Committee, they learned about the information from the media. Recall that in kindergartens near Zheleznogorsk, they are «setting records for low temperatures» — the temperature in children«s locker rooms is only 15-17 degrees Celsius (59-63°F).
«In the bedrooms, it»s the same. In the kindergarten on Mira Street, 8a, the vestibules are icy, in the locker rooms, it«s impossible for children to be without shoes, the floors are icy,» said our reader.
The man who contacted NGS24.RU points out that such a situation in the kindergartens has been occurring for more than a year. But no measures are being taken to address the problem.
Bastrykin, in turn, instructed the head of the Investigative Committee for Krasnoyarsk Krai and Khakassia, Alexey Yeremin, to open a criminal case and submit a report on the progress and results of its investigation.
The execution of this instruction has been put under control in the central apparatus of the department.
In addition, the situation has been taken up by the Interregional Center for Children«s Rights. Specialists from the center told an NGS24.RU correspondent that »they are organizing work as part of a public inspection.«
Earlier, NGS24.RU also reported that schoolchildren from Achinsk complained to Yekaterina Mizulina about the heating in school No. 3.
«It»s cold in the school, there«s no heating, in the warmest classrooms it»s -8°C (18°F). Teachers don«t allow warm clothing, let alone jackets, according to SanPiN. What to do in such situations? Getting sick is not desirable, exams are coming up...» they write in Mizulina«s chat.
