Dress warmer: Murmansk Region to see severe frosts

30 January will be especially cold in the Murmansk Region. We advise dressing warmly and not forgetting scarves, hats and mittens — you will definitely need them.

The region will see variable cloudiness today. The wind will be weak, coming from the west and southwest. There will be snow, fog, and frost in some areas.

Air temperatures will range from -20 to -25°C (-4 to -13°F), but during clear spells will drop to -27 to -32°C (-16.6 to -25.6°F). In some districts, temperatures will be -15 to -20°C (5 to -4°F) throughout the day. There will be icy conditions, the Murmansk Hydrometeorological Center (UGMS) reported.
