Deputies back increase in payment to large families instead of land plot
The payment for large families now amounts to 350,000 rubles (about $3,900 at current rates).
At a January meeting, the Duma deputies supported the indexation of the one-time cash payment provided to large families in Perm instead of a land plot. Its amount of 250,000 rubles (about $2,800 at current rates) was set in 2019. Now the payment has been increased by 100,000 rubles (about $1,100 at current rates).
The social policy committee of the Perm City Duma previously supported this issue.
«Support for large families is an urgent task for federal, regional, and certainly municipal authorities. Today, the deputies of the Perm City Duma decided to increase this payment to 350,000 rubles (about $3,900 at current rates). About a third of all those on the waiting list choose the cash payment, which is approximately 2,200 families. Support is being provided, and we will continue this work,» emphasized Dmitry Malyutin, chairman of the Perm City Duma.
