"Vatafa?!" Rapper Ganvesta's catchphrase is being patented in Ufa

Businessmen from Ufa who are involved in music production have filed an application to patent the phrase «Shneine pepe vtфаа fa khеkhе». If anyone is not yet aware, this set of letters is similar in sound to a viral meme that rapper Ganvesta regularly repeats.

He has been signing all his social media posts with these words for several months, inserting them into tracks, and using them in interviews. It resembles Tourette syndrome, but since the musician does not complain, he does not suffer from anything like that, and only uses it as part of his image. The application for trademark registration was filed with Rospatent by the company «Rimes Booking», which was registered in Ufa in 2017. The founders are Rim Yasaviev and Mikhail Panshin, who also own and manage several other firms in the city. According to «Kontur.Fokus», at the end of 2024, «Rimes Booking» reported revenue of over 207 million rubles (approximately $2.2 million at current rates), with a profit of 481 thousand rubles (about $5,063).

UFA1.RU attempted to contact the businessmen through their companies to learn the reasons (and seriousness) behind their application for Ganvesta«s phrase, but they did not respond to calls.
