Maria Gorbany vows to avoid reality show intrigues

Yaroslavl actress Maria Gorbany appeared in the popular TNT show «Survive in Istanbul». According to the show«s rules, participants undergo various challenges, and upon losing, they perform penalties. The team Gorbany was on was assigned household chores. Some swept and washed floors, while Maria did laundry by hand.

«Let me be the most boring and forgettable participant in the reality show. I»m even ready to do everyone«s laundry by hand — just don»t involve me in intrigues, I beg you,« the actress wrote on her social media.

During filming, Maria Gorbany admitted to host Pavel Volya that she is very domestic. Her mother taught her cleanliness and order from childhood. Now she is instilling the same in her 11-year-old daughter.

«Masha, have you ever done laundry by hand in your life?» Pavel Volya asked, not without sarcasm.

«I have!» Gorbany proudly replied. «And I even taught my daughter. She»s already 11 years old. Because it«s a very cool life skill. Of course, now there are washing machines and dry cleaners, but in childhood, the first thing my mother taught me was to do laundry. Because it will definitely come in handy.»

«Survive in Istanbul» is a Russian reality show on the TNT channel, filmed in Turkey, where participants undergo challenges in limited comfort conditions. The project involves two teams of eight people each: a team of stars and a team of ordinary participants.

Players live in spartan conditions and earn food, amenities, and immunity by passing physical and psychological challenges. After key tasks, one of the teams or individual participants find themselves at risk of elimination. This happens through voting or a decisive challenge, depending on the episode«s rules.

The player who reaches the final receives a cash prize.
