Blue-collar jobs in Primorye have taken the lead in income levels: in 2025, the highest-paid profession in the region became the concrete worker. On average, employers are willing to pay such specialists 171,300 rubles per month (approximately $1,700 at current rates), which is 28% more than a year earlier, researchers from the Avito Rabota job service reported.

Experts analyzed salary offers for applicants with one to three years of experience and concluded that construction and industrial specialties currently yield the highest incomes. However, actual salaries can vary significantly depending on qualifications, schedule, and working conditions — many vacancies list salary ranges, and some offers involve shift work.

Second place in the ranking was taken by bricklayers. Employers in Primorye on average offer them 158,600 rubles per month (approximately $1,600 at current rates) — over the year, incomes in this field grew by 25%. These specialists perform bricklaying and stonework, erect walls and partitions, and the strength and durability of buildings directly depend on the quality of their work.

The top three were closed by milling machine operators. In 2025, the average offered salary for them was 147,500 rubles per month (approximately $1,500 at current rates), which is 13% higher than last year«s figures. These workers process metal and wooden parts on machines, responsible for the accuracy of dimensions and the quality of finished products.

Experts link the growth of salaries in blue-collar professions to an acute shortage of personnel and record-low unemployment. According to Rosstat (the Russian Federal State Statistics Service), its level in the country has dropped to 2.1% — the minimum since 1991.

“The market requires specialists whose work involves experience, adherence to strict safety standards, and high accuracy — in industry, construction, and extractive sectors,” noted Andrey Kucheryenkov, director of the “Blue-Collar and Linear Professions” category at Avito Rabota.

According to him, the dynamics of vacancies only confirm this trend: over the year, the number of offers for facade workers (+99%), tilers (+91%), and auto painters (+70%) grew the most.

Earlier we reported that salaries in Primorye increased in 2025 compared to the previous year. In October, the average monthly nominal accrued wage of residents of Primorye reached 95,600 rubles (approximately $960 at current rates), according to the monthly report by Primorskstat (Primorye«s statistics agency) on the socio-economic situation of the region.
