Starting the new year with premieres is the unofficial motto of the Tyumen Concert and Theater Association (TCTA). Details will emerge later, but key cultural events are already known. We invite you to find out how Tyumen«s theaters, philharmonic, and palace of culture plan to surprise and win you over in the near future.

TCTA—the Tyumen Concert and Theater Association—includes the Puppet Theater, the Philharmonic, the Neftyanik Palace of Culture, and drama theaters in Tyumen and Tobolsk.

Drama Theater (TBDT)

The theater plans to present audiences with new productions. Among them:

  • «The Catcher in the Rye»—based on the novel by J.D. Salinger;

  • «My Grandfather Was a Cherry Tree»—based on the story by Angela Nanetti;

  • «The Cherry Orchard»

  • «Eugene Onegin».

Additionally, TBDT artists will actively tour. Plans include trips to Saratov, Kaliningrad, Moscow, and other cities across the country.

Philharmonic

The Tyumen Philharmonic Orchestra will record the concert-poem «Echoes» based on themes by Alexandra Pakhmutova and composer Igor Kholopov in February. In spring, it will embark on a tour with stops in Moscow, Cheboksary, Perm, and Yekaterinburg.

The choir chapel has the following plans:

  • February—a performance in Omsk together with the Omsk Academic Symphony Orchestra.

  • April—the II Bogdanyan Chamber Music Festival, dedicated to the art of cello playing.

  • May—a concert performance of Tchaikovsky«s opera »Iolanta« to close the concert season.

Neftyanik Palace of Culture

The team at the Palace on the Embankment is constantly searching for new forms of concert programs to delight audiences. While the venue isn«t revealing all its secrets yet, it»s already certain that viewers can expect interesting events timed to the palace«s 50th anniversary.

Puppet Theater

Plans for 2026 include three premieres: «Doctor Aybolit and Barmaley» in February, «The Rooster and the Paints» in June, and «The Frog Princess» in December. Tours to Russian cities are also planned, following a good tradition.
