Teenager jailed for stabbing mother in Ural town

In Nizhny Tagil, a court has sent a 15-year-old teenager into custody, accused of attempting to murder a mother of many children. The tragedy occurred in the settlement of Gornouralsky. According to the investigation, on January 6, Natalya Kiryanova was returning home from a store when she encountered the teenager in the entranceway, who stabbed her in the stomach and fled. The victim died in the hospital on January 12.

Anton (name changed — Ed.) was quickly found and placed under house arrest, but he escaped and hid for five days. Taking this into account, the court did not leave him free during the investigation. He was sent into custody for one month and 16 days.

Note that earlier investigators reported that charges were brought under an article for murder, but in court the prosecutor clarified that the current charge is attempted murder.
