Patient stabs wardmate in Tomsk hospital — Investigative Committee

It all started with insults
In the Tomsk region, a hospital patient stabbed his wardmate with a kitchen knife. The man has already admitted guilt and was sent to a pre-trial detention center, according to the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Tomsk region.
Preliminarily, the conflict began on the night of January 19 in one of the wards of Zyryanskaya District Hospital. One of the men, angered by insults, took a kitchen knife and inflicted at least two blows to the chest of his 64-year-old opponent. The victim died at the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated against a 78-year-old resident of the village of Tsyganovo in the Zyryansky District of Tomsk region. He is charged under Part 1, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
The accused has fully admitted guilt. At the investigator«s request, he was taken into custody.
