Model Angelika Tartanova Emerges from Coma After Losing Half Her Skull
Model Angelika Tartanova said she remembers the unfortunate day when she was brutally beaten.
Angelika Tartanova, a 33-year-old model beaten in Moscow who lost half her skull, has emerged from a coma and appeared on the show «Pust Govoryat» (Let Them Talk) on Channel One. She described her current condition in the hospital. The entire chronology of what happened to her was reconstructed during the TV program.
Recall that earlier in Moscow, 40-year-old Dmitry Kuzmin was detained, accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on Angelika Tartanova. According to the investigation, the man hit her on the head during an argument in an apartment. An ambulance took the woman to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with memory loss, even though she gave her name. After that, Angelika fell into a coma.
Meanwhile, Dmitry Kuzmin was sent not to a pre-trial detention center (SIZO) but placed under house arrest for some reason.
As the victim«s sisters said during the program, in Krasnodar, where she is from, the model has a child left behind. He is 16 years old and lives with his mother-in-law. Before moving to Moscow, the teenager lived with Angelika, but she decided to leave him with his grandmother so the boy wouldn»t be stressed by the long journey.

In Moscow, Angelika changed significantly. This is evident from photos shown during the broadcast. It was in the capital that she met that very Dmitry Kuzmin. She told her family almost nothing about the young man. But she did share her concerns with a friend.
«At some point, Dmitry started controlling the relationship, put a wiretap on her phone, read all her messages, could snatch the phone,» said Angelika Tartanova«s friend. »He recovered deleted messages and read them. There was an incident when he hit her in the face. She complained, then he came and apologized. She forgave him.«
As previously reported by our colleagues from 93.RU, their romance lasted about six months. The man was involved in the construction business. When Angelika got back together with Dmitry, the situation in their relationship did not change for the better.
«She was preparing to escape on November 20 and disappeared,» added her friend.
Also during the broadcast, the program showed messages that Angelika«s son received after she ended up in the hospital. According to medical reports, she underwent surgery on the 22nd–23rd. On the same dates, she allegedly wrote to her child that everything was fine and she wasn»t responding, supposedly because the signal is being jammed in Moscow.
The program showed footage of a short conversation with Angelika Tartanova. When asked what happened to her, the woman replies that she remembers nothing.
«My head hurts. I don»t remember anything at all, I need to restore my memory, then maybe I«ll remember,» Angelika stated on the TV show.
