Meteorologists have issued a warning for increased sea turbulence in Sochi and Sirius, with the Lazarevsky district expecting the most powerful waves.

According to the meteorologists« warning, until the end of the day on January 24 and also on January 25, in the areas of Sochi and Sirius, sea turbulence is expected to increase to 3 points with wave heights of 0.8–1.2 meters (2.6–3.9 feet), while in the Lazarevsky district it will be 4 points with wave heights of 1.3–1.5 meters (4.3–4.9 feet) from the south.
The situation is being monitored by the city«s operational headquarters.
Residents and visitors to the resort are advised to avoid leisure activities near the water and take necessary precautions. In case of an emergency, it is necessary to call 112.
