Yaroslavl Region introduces paid parking for trailers

Yaroslavl Region has introduced another category of vehicles that will require payment for parking. A decree issued by the regional government on 14 January 2026 added trailers and semi-trailers to the list of vehicle categories.

«Payment for trailers and semi-trailers in Yaroslavl»s administrative and social zones is 300 rubles (approx. $3 at current rates), in special zones — 180 rubles (approx. $2). In Rybinsk — 240 and 150 rubles (approx. $2.40 and $1.50) respectively. In other cities: in the administrative zone — 180 rubles (approx. $2), in social zones — 110 rubles (approx. $1),« the Ministry of Road Facilities and Transport of Yaroslavl Region told the 76.RU portal.

Recall that paid parking on central streets in Yaroslavl, Rybinsk, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, and Uglich in Yaroslavl Region began operating on 25 December 2025. The cost of parking a vehicle in these spaces depends on the zone where the parking spot is located and the category of the vehicle itself.

Originally, three categories were established:

• mopeds, motorcycles, and light quad bikes (categories A and M);

• passenger cars and trucks up to 3.5 tonnes (category B);

• other vehicles.

Trailers and semi-trailers have been included in the group of other vehicles. The parking fee for them is the highest of all categories.
