“The trains are running with long delays, some are not running at all. During the peak hour, people are forced to wait for transport in the cold,” wrote a reader of MSK1.RU.

In the line«s chat, passengers write that it is sometimes difficult, if not impossible, to get into a carriage: the trains arrive at stations already packed with people.

“There’s an opportunity to catch up on sleep before the workday,” jokes one passenger, Kirill.

“Every other train was cold this morning. And carriages regularly had no heating. But in my memory, there has never been a heating failure on the MCD in two years,” noted Anton.

“It’s easier to just call a taxi,” writes another passenger.

“Look at the price and you’ll change your mind,” replies Valeria to him.

At some stations, the display shows delays for trains of up to an hour and a half. According to them, announcements about delays are not made everywhere, and no one knows when the train will arrive.

“A separate train is needed for Lyubertsy,” complains Natalia.

On the Tutu.ru portal, an announcement was published that train movement on the Ryazan direction is difficult. As of 07:40, train movement at the Ramenskoye station has been restored.

“Train delays are expected, including due to the turnaround of delayed trains. There are also delays of individual trains on the Ryazan direction from the region towards Moscow. Additionally, there are train delays at the Kuryevskaya station in both directions,” the announcement says. “Trains may run slower than usual with further stops before Kuryevskaya station and a subsequent increase in travel time. Train delays are expected, including due to the turnaround of delayed trains. Unscheduled reductions and cancellations are possible.”

The press service of the Moscow Railway (Moscow Railway, MZhD) reported that due to severe frosts, many trains were running with delays this morning.

“Due to the established low temperatures, rolling stock was being released onto the lines with a delay for technical reasons. In addition, at the Ramenskoye, Reutov, Domodedovo, Silikatnaya, and Stupino stations in the morning hours, trains made unscheduled stops for technical reasons, followed by the disembarkation of passengers. Because of this, suburban train movement on the Gorky, Paveletsky, Kazan, and Kursk directions is being carried out with deviations from the schedule,” the MZhD statement said.

Earlier, at the Moscow Central Circle«s Nizhegorodskaya station, the platform collapsed. Because of this, trains have been passing through without stopping for several days — we showed what happens there during peak hours. Also, MSK1.RU asked an expert what could have caused the incident.
