Two injured in shooting in southwestern St. Petersburg
A 46-year-old man was detained in the Kirovsky district of St. Petersburg after opening fire with a traumatic pistol during an argument. Two people were hospitalized, one in serious condition.

In the Kirovsky district of St. Petersburg, police detained a man who opened fire with a traumatic weapon in a residential courtyard. The incident occurred near house 137/2 on Prospekt Narodnogo Opolcheniya on the evening of July 19.
At around 11 p.m., a witness reported a fight and gunshots to the police. Arriving officers detained the 46-year-old St. Petersburg resident and seized his pistol.
It was established that during the conflict, the man fired several times and wounded two people. The victims were taken to a hospital: one is in moderate condition, the other in serious condition.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the detainee. He was placed in a special holding facility pending a decision on whether to open a criminal case.
