Two Girls and Motorcyclist Injured in Voronezh Crash

In Voronezh region, two children were injured in a road accident. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD).

The incident occurred on July 19 at about 2:10 a.m. on Chkalov Street in Borisoglebsk. Preliminary reports indicate that a 29-year-old local resident driving a Lada Priora failed to yield the right of way to a Prosida Motors motorcycle ridden by an 18-year-old resident of the Borisoglebsk district. After the collision, the motorcycle crashed into a Nissan Almera parked on the roadside with its hazard lights on.

As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist and his two passengers, girls aged 13 and 16, were injured and taken to a hospital. The injured motorcyclist did not have a driver«s license, and the girls were not wearing helmets or protective gear. Police are conducting an investigation and establishing the circumstances and causes of the incident.

Earlier, a boy and a girl were hit on a pedestrian crossing in Voronezh region. The children were taken to a hospital.
