Electricity and communication have been cut off for the second day in the center of the Tungokochensky District — the village of Verkh-Usugli, a relative of local residents told Chita.Ru on 20 July.

On Saturday, 18 July, the power was turned off for some time, then on Sunday it was turned off and there has been no power supply since. Communication worked approximately until noon on 19 July, then it was cut off because the equipment of mobile operators does not work without electricity. An answering machine of Rosseti reported that restoration work is underway after a technical failure. They promised that electricity would appear today around 15:00,« the publication»s interlocutor clarified.

Another reader of Chita.Ru reported that the contact center explained the outage as a technical failure that is planned to be fixed by the end of the day.

The press service of the branch of Rosseti Siberia — Chitaenergo reported that employees are carrying out scheduled repair work in this area to eliminate previously identified defects in power equipment.

The power engineers are doing everything possible to complete them in the shortest possible time,« the press service clarified.
