On Tuesday, January 20, on Tsvillinga Street, a tram hit a pensioner who was crossing the road. He sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital, the Chelyabinsk State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI) reported.
The incident occurred at 11:25 at the intersection of Tsvillinga and Ordzhonikidze streets near the Railway Workers« House of Culture. According to GAI, the 27-year-old tram driver struck a 75-year-old man who was crossing at a regulated pedestrian crossing. The details of the accident are under investigation.
