Shooting in Kirovsky District: Two Wounded, Shooter Detained

In the Kirovsky District of St. Petersburg, a shooting occurred on the evening of July 19. Around 11:00 p.m., a witness reported to the police a fight and gunshots in the courtyard of building 137/2 on Narodnogo Opolcheniya Avenue.
Police officers who arrived at the scene detained a 46-year-old man. They seized a traumatic pistol, which, according to preliminary data, he fired several times during the conflict.
As a result of the shooting, two men were injured. One was hospitalized in moderate condition, the other in serious condition. Both were taken to the hospital.
An administrative protocol has been drawn up against the detainee. He has been placed in a special detention facility pending a decision on whether to initiate a criminal case.
