In Chelyabinsk on Tuesday, 20 January, at around 11:25, a tram hit a pedestrian. The incident happened at the intersection of Tsvillinga and Ordzhonikidze streets, near the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers.
According to the city«s State Traffic Inspectorate, the 27-year-old tram driver hit an 85-year-old man who was crossing the road at a signal-controlled pedestrian crossing. The victim sustained injuries and was hospitalized. The circumstances of the incident are currently being clarified.
