One Dead, Two Injured in Kasimov District Crash

A serious road traffic accident occurred in the Kasimov District of Ryazan Region, resulting in one death and two injuries. According to law enforcement authorities, the accident happened on 19 July at approximately 13:25 on the 250th kilometer of the Moscow — Yegoryevsk — Tuma — Kasimov highway.

According to preliminary data, a Renault Logan driven by a 42-year-old Moscow resident collided with a VAZ-2107 driven by a 26-year-old Kasimov resident. As a result, a 71-year-old female passenger in the Renault Logan died at the scene from her injuries. Medical assistance was required for the driver of the Russian-made vehicle and a 76-year-old passenger of the foreign car; both were hospitalized.

An investigation is being conducted into the accident, and all circumstances are being established.
