Minibus Overturns in Murmansk, Child Injured

On the afternoon of 19 July, a passenger minibus of route No. 102 overturned on the Apatity–Kirovsk road.
According to preliminary information from the State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI), around 14:25 at the 13th kilometer of the highway, the driver of the GAZelle, traveling from Apatity to Kirovsk, felt unwell, after which the minibus left the road and overturned. A sobriety test showed the driver was sober.
According to the latest data, three people have been hospitalized, and another six received outpatient medical care. Five passengers were treated on the spot. Among the injured is an eight-year-old child; his life and health are not in danger.
The Investigative Committee is conducting a procedural check into the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements. The circumstances of the accident are also being established by the State Traffic Inspectorate.
Earlier, a fatal road accident occurred in the Murmansk region.
