Daniil Kuznetsov found dead a year after disappearance
The young man was last seen on the highway near the SNT Yantarnoye gardening cooperative.
Daniil Kuznetsov, who had been missing for nearly a year near Barnaul, was found dead. This was reported on July 20 to NGS22.RU by the press service of the search team «LizaAlert».
«The search is over, he is dead,» the press service stated.
The team is not disclosing details of the incident.
20-year-old Daniil Kuznetsov disappeared on August 23. The young man was returning from a construction job, but never made it home. According to his sister Anastasia, her brother lived with their parents in the village of Berezovka, Pervomaisky District (Altai Krai), but worked in Barnaul, so he sometimes stayed overnight there.
«He left home on August 20 or 21. At that time, he called his mother to say he was staying in the city because he worked late. He said he would come the next day. The next day, the same thing happened. Then, on the evening of August 22, he called his parents again and said that tomorrow he would definitely come in the morning or afternoon. But on August 23, he no longer answered calls. Then on August 24, she started calling his friends and colleagues she knew. And on the 25th, Monday, we filed a police report,» the young man«s relative recounted.
Soon after the disappearance, investigators opened a criminal case on charges of murder. More than 100 people gathered with the authorities for the initial search.
The only lead in the search for the young man was a dashcam recording. The young man was captured on a fuel truck«s camera on the highway near the SNT Yantarnoye gardening cooperative.
