Weather conditions in St. Petersburg are being shaped by the northern part of a cyclone that brought rain and thick cloud cover. Tuesday, 21 July 2025, will be the coldest day of the current week, reported meteorologist Mikhail Leus.

The temperature pattern will be as follows:

  • In St. Petersburg, thermometers will show 15–17°C (59–63°F).
  • In Leningrad Oblast, temperatures range from 13°C (55°F) in the north to 18°C (64°F); in the south of the region, up to 21°C (70°F) is possible.

The wind will blow from the northeast at 5–10 m/s. Atmospheric pressure will continue to drop and reach 756 mmHg, which is below the climatic norm.

Already on Wednesday, 22 July, the weather will begin to change. Despite brief showers, the air will become warmer: overnight lows of 12–14°C (54–57°F), daytime highs of 18–20°C (64–68°F).
