St. Petersburg Offers Training for Military Participants and Families
In St. Petersburg, a list of 56 professional training programs has been approved for participants of the special military operation and their relatives. The city will cover the costs for mastering both working and modern digital professions.

The Committee on Labor and Employment of St. Petersburg has developed a list of 56 educational programs for professional training and additional education for participants of the special military operation and members of their families.
The offered specialties cover a wide range of fields, from traditional working professions to beauty services and high technologies.
- Working and construction specialties include auto mechanic, bulldozer operator, car or loader driver, tinsmith, bricklayer, window and door installer, welder, and tractor operator.
- In the service sector, there are groomer, cosmetic aesthetician, landscape designer, manicure and pedicure master, hairdresser, apartment building manager, and florist.
- The technology block includes AI trainer, ML engineer (specialist in neural networks), data journalist, IT architect, expert in IT and AI ethics, digital waste recycler, and digital linguist.
- Among other areas are ballistics expert, mine and explosive works engineer, security guard, specialist in patriotic education, swarm artist (developer of drone shows), and specialist in civil defense.
Training for all programs will be fully financed from the city budget.
The Committee on Labor and Employment will provide subsidies to the St. Petersburg Employment Center.
The right to training extends to spouses of participants of the special military operation, their minor children over 16 years old, disabled children, as well as full-time students under 23 years old and dependents.
