Nizhny Novgorod residents warned of intensifying snowfalls
The city administration warns that heavy snowfall will continue throughout the day, adding to the existing snow cover.
Residents of Nizhny Novgorod have been warned of intensifying snowfalls throughout the entire day today. This was reported by the city administration.
Authorities plan to intensify snow removal from the streets by the evening when snowfall intensity is expected to decrease.
The mayor«s office reports that the weather has worsened and that today the snow cover in the city may grow by another 17–20 cm (6.7–7.9 in).
Road workers and utility crews are not sitting idle and continue to clear and treat roads. An increase in snow removal is planned for the night, when the intensity of the snowfall decreases.
