Residents of Nadezhdinsky District are calling for the resignation of district prosecutor Alexei Malyshev; they have already started collecting signatures and have prepared a complaint. According to the Telegram channel Newsbox24.tv, the complaints mainly concern human rights violations, for example, residents are outraged by the lack of response to constant power and water outages.

«The district prosecutor»s office is obliged to monitor the activities of organizations responsible for uninterrupted utility services, but it does not use its authority to establish the causes of violations and hold those responsible accountable. In fact, the district prosecutor«s office takes no action until the Primorsky Krai prosecutor»s office intervenes in the situation, learning about the problems from social media, not from the district prosecutor,« states the published appeal.

Separately, they expressed dissatisfaction related to the scandal after the awarding of a bonus to the head of Nadezhdinsky District, Maxim Yakimov. Based on the results of work in 2024, he received a bonus of 1.05 million rubles (approximately $10,500 at current rates) — more than the bonuses of Vladivostok head Konstantin Shestakov and Ussuriysk head Yevgeny Korzh combined.

«We also draw attention to the condoning of corrupt practices in the district administration»s activities, namely: the district head, whose work is assessed by residents as unsatisfactory and which is also directly related to the above-mentioned problems, was paid a bonus of 1 million 50 thousand rubles (approximately $10,500 at current rates) based on the results of work in 2025. This fact raises serious doubts about the legality and justification of such an incentive. According to the regulations on bonuses for heads of municipalities, the payment of a bonus should be linked to specific achievements,« residents wrote in the complaint.

How many signatures have been collected could not be ascertained at the time of publication. Forms are offered to be signed remotely or to organize one«s own point where those who agree with the position of the initiative group could leave their details and signature. They plan to send the complaint to the Primorsky Krai Prosecutor»s Office.
