Minister promises vuchki extreme rides for Krasnoyarsk

Regional Minister of Sports Denis Petrovsky has promised to launch vuchki rides for Krasnoyarsk residents on the sled track located on Torgashinsky Ridge.

«Have you heard about vuchki? These are soft beans for tourist descents. Anyone can ride on them along the track. We will try to launch trial descents (for now on sleds) in Krasnoyarsk this year,» said Regional Minister of Sports Denis Petrovsky in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the issue of reconstructing the sled track is currently being worked on (there are only four such tracks in Russia, and the Krasnoyarsk one has been in operation since 1981 — Ed.). The main goal is, of course, sports-related, but the tourism direction — with mass rides — is also planned.

Several years ago, we reported that trees were being actively cut down around the sled track on Torgashinsky Ridge. At that time, the director of the regional specialized sports school for sled sports, Petr Dolgikh, explained to NGS24.RU that this was due to a prosecutor«s order to install a fence.
