In Krasnodar Park, on a wall near the French garden, the installation began of a new art object back in late autumn 2025. At its center is a figure of a man surrounded by hands forming a heart.
On January 29, the park«s official Telegram channel explained the meaning of the new installation. Its name is »Embraces of Humanity.«
«The man in the center is vulnerable but resilient, a symbol of each of us. The hands around are protection and unity. The installation reminds us: despite personal difficulties, we are all interconnected, and in this connection lie comfort, strength, and hope,» park representatives said.
The author of the art object is not named. Prior to this, in Krasnodar Park on the territory of the Park of Clouds, two other new art objects were opened— «Gaia» (a huge sculpture of a woman with a globe in her hands) and an arch with people holding each other.
Earlier online, it was suggested that the author of the works could be Italian sculptor Lorenzo Quinn. As 93.RU was told by the author of the Park of Clouds project, renowned landscape architect Alexander Grivko, this is not the case. Moreover, according to Grivko, many art objects in the park«s new phase are fakes, including the alleged »emotions« by Spanish artist Samuel Salcedo, as in the Gardens of Étretat in France. Why Grivko is no longer involved in creating the Park of Clouds, read in this article.
