Iset River Water Rises 10 cm in Dalmatovo

Due to heavy rainfall in Sverdlovsk Oblast, the Iset River in the Trans-Ural region could overflow its banks. The water level in the river began to rise sharply. According to the latest data from the Kurgan Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (TsGMS), as of 08:00 on 21 July 2026, the water level in the Iset River at Dalmatovo (Kurgan region) was 238 cm. In 24 hours, the water rose by 10 centimeters. This value has already exceeded the adverse level threshold of 210 centimeters.
According to the administration of Dalmatovsky District, an operational headquarters is currently working in the district and monitoring the river«s water level. At present, there are no flooded houses. Temporary accommodation centers have been set up as a preventive measure, and door-to-door inspections are being conducted.
Forecasters from the Kurgan TsGMS warn on their website that from 20 to 22 July 2026, the water level at Dalmatovo could reach the dangerous level threshold (275 cm). The flood zone for household plots and residential buildings in the Iset River floodplain will also expand.
Earlier we reported that a high alert mode was introduced in Shadrinsk due to the rise of water in the Iset River. The water level near Shadrinsk rose by 9 centimeters in 24 hours and now stands at 170 centimeters.
