Irkutsk specialists dispatched to Bodaybo for emergency repairs

Emergency teams from Irkutsk are arriving in Bodaybo with equipment to address the frozen pipeline.
Specialists from Irkutsk«s management companies have flown to Bodaybo (in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia) to eliminate the consequences of the emergency. Their task is to accelerate measures to deal with the utility accident. This decision was made at a meeting of the Emergency Commission (KChS) under the leadership of Governor Igor Kobzev, as reported in the Telegram channel of the Irkutsk administration.
A team from the management company «Progress-Service» has already been dispatched to Bodaybo: general director Lev Shalaginov and two specialists. On the second flight, general director Sergey Belykh and two specialists from the Northern Housing and Communal Systems Department flew out. On Monday morning, they will be joined by four specialists from the Eastern Housing and Communal Systems Department under the direction of director Denis Dneprovsky. They will bring a transformer with them.
In addition to Irkutsk«s management companies, assistance is being provided by JSC »Vyshchayshiy«, ZTK »Lenzoloto«, PJSC »Gazprom Dobycha Irkutsk«, as well as the airline »IrAero«, which ensures the delivery of people and cargo.
Recall that in Bodaybo, problems with heating and hot water have been observed for the fourth day already. The central water pipeline has frozen, leaving more than 1,300 people without heat. Governor Igor Kobzev called the situation in the city «critical,» sent his first deputy Roman Kolesov and Minister of Housing Policy and Energy Anatoly Nikitin there. In the city, a state of emergency has been in effect since January 31.
Residents of Bodaybo have told how they are surviving in their homes without heating in 40-degree below zero frosts (-40°C/-40°F). Moreover, the city«s residents have united and created a mutual aid chat: they deliver food, water, and heaters to each other. On the afternoon of January 31, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), Vyacheslav Fedoseyenko, flew to Bodaybo to personally monitor the situation.
Yevgeny Yumashev asked residents whose homes are without centralized heating to move in with relatives or to temporary accommodation points. Also, the mayor of Bodaybo told when it is planned to restore heating in the city.
