Inspections uncover nutrition violations at Prokopyevsk boarding home

Inspections at the Prokopyevsk boarding home, conducted back in September 2025, revealed violations related to patient nutrition. Elena Voronina, the deputy governor of Kuzbass for social issues, discussed the work of food control at the medical institution in a conversation with NGS42.RU.

According to Elena Voronina, the work of the boarding home«s kitchen, where a mass disease outbreak occurred, and in particular the nutrition of the people living there, was checked several times last year. All inspections were unplanned.

No serious violations in the diet were found, but the control discovered errors in the documentation. After that, a disciplinary penalty was imposed on the employee responsible for filling them out at the institution.

Moreover, the boarding home workers themselves complained about the quality of incoming products. The deputy governor emphasized that an acceptance commission was working in the organization, monitoring the level of patient nutrition. In case of products of improper appearance, kitchen staff sent them back to the supplier.

At the same time, employees previously sent NGS42.RU editorial office photos of food for patients, which they had to prepare from rotten vegetables and meat.
