Gorky developer relocates 39 families from dilapidated housing
Resettlement is being carried out in two stages: 19 families have already moved, and 20 more will receive apartments by the end of 2026.
Until recently, in the Leninsky District, on a plot bounded by Pravdy, Chongarskaya, and Mendeleev streets, 39 families lived in several dilapidated and unsafe houses. But thanks to the federal developer Novy Gorod (New City), under an agreement with the city for comprehensive territory development and the Housing Code, they will receive new housing at the developer«s expense.
The variable-height building will be located in a quiet area with no view of roads or future construction, but with excellent transport accessibility.
The resettlement is being carried out in two stages. Under the first stage, 19 families have already received new apartments and successfully moved, and the second stage will last until the end of 2026, with 20 more families receiving new apartments. Additionally, the developer has transferred 2 residential units to city ownership for social rental contracts.
Inside the complex, an extensive park yard with an area of 1.6 hectares will appear, without cars, with children«s and sports playgrounds.
Now, on the site of the old and unfit housing, the developer will build a modern and comfortable residential complex — «Gorky». It will become another outstanding project of Novy Gorod, which today is the No. 1 developer in terms of consumer quality and construction volume in the rating of the Unified Resource of Developers in Tver and Vladimir regions.
Future residents will enjoy a building of variable height (from 9 to 15 stories) with geometrically strict, yet elegant architecture. The windows of their apartments will not face roadways, and home tranquility will never be disturbed by construction next door: no new buildings will appear here. At the same time, within walking distance, there are immediately 2 metro stations and 9 transport stops.
In addition to the building, a new park yard with an area of 1.63 hectares will appear here. There will be no cars; the park space will be occupied by playgrounds for children, areas for active sports, and zones for peaceful relaxation with walking paths. The developer will pay much attention to all-season landscaping and landscape design.
On each floor of the building, depending on the section, there will be only 4 to 7 apartments, giving residents even more quiet and privacy. The apartments will be divided into cozy studios and one-bedroom, functional two-bedroom, and spacious three-bedroom layouts.
To free up even more useful space in the apartments, the developer has provided in the halls of «Gorky» closed stroller rooms, and in part of the parking spaces in the underground parking — space for cellars, closed storage areas for seasonal items.
In each apartment, pre-finish White Box decoration is planned, but it will be possible to order ready-made renovation with furniture according to a design project from the developer. This will save about 30% of its cost.
