Official agencies in the region have publicized information about new losses. Five names appeared on the list in total.

The administration of Yalutorovsk reported the death of Yevgeny Shagin. The man had combat experience: he served in Chechnya in 1995 and went to serve under contract again in 2000. In peacetime, he worked at enterprises in the city. In 2024, Yevgeny Shagin departed for the special military operation zone, where he was killed. His farewell ceremony was held on 20 January.

The Tyumen Oblast Search Center named after Arthur Olkhovsky confirmed the death of another person — Andrey Cherkasov. He was a participant in the Krechet (Gyrfalcon) search unit from Tyumen and the Otechestvo (Fatherland) unit from Tobolsk. Cherkasov died on 17 October 2025, and his funeral was held in Tyumen on 20 January.

The third person killed was Denis Shabunin, a 1982-born resident of the village of Karasul. A message about his death and funeral, which took place on 4 January, was circulated by the administration of the Ishimsky District.

In the Yalutorovsky District, two local residents were posthumously awarded, whose names had not been previously announced. They are Vladimir Nikolayev from the village of Stary Kavdyk and Pavel Garmanov from Berdyugino.

It should be recalled that earlier in January, the deaths of three residents of Tyumen Oblast were reported, the youngest of whom was 22 years old.
