According to a preliminary forecast from Ilya Vinshtein, author of the project «Weather 45 – weather in Kurgan», over the next half-month, daytime temperatures will range from -5 to -13 degrees Celsius (23 to 9°F). At night, temperatures will be between -12° and -24°C (10 to -11°F).

«Overall, the weather will remain warmer than the climatic norm,» concludes Vinshtein. The warmest day will be this Wednesday, and the coldest on Friday, February 6, when the nighttime temperature will drop to -24 degrees Celsius (-11°F). Snow can be expected this week on February 4, 5, and 7. Precipitation is also possible on February 14. In total, about 16 mm of precipitation may fall according to the forecast.
