Child in Stavropol picked up a «toy» on the street, brought it home — and it exploded
A disturbing incident involving a child occurred in Stavropol. A boy picked up an object on the street that looked like a plastic toy grenade and brought it home. Already in the apartment, a pyrotechnic device went off.
The child was urgently examined by medics. The doctors decided to hospitalize him — the boy was taken to the ophthalmology department of the regional children«s hospital. He is now under the supervision of specialists and is receiving all necessary medical care. His condition is stable.
As reported by the mayor of Stavropol, Ivan Ulyanchenko, in his Telegram channel, the competent authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident. Following the inspection, a legal assessment of the incident will be made.
Confiscated house of former Stavropol traffic police chief Alexei Safonov put up for auction
While the former head of the region«s traffic police himself is serving a 20-year sentence, the property of his family is being confiscated. The famous house with a golden toilet was put up for auction. Interestingly, the mansion was registered not in Safonov»s name, but in the name of his cohabitant, whom the court ordered to pay compensation.
Recall that the court decided to confiscate this house from Elena Psel, but then complications arose. The legality of the land plot acquisition was proven, so the woman must be paid compensation of 11.7 million rubles (approx. $130,000 at current rates). At that time, the court could not make a different decision, because the mansion, which is inseparably linked with the land plot, was turned into state income.
Now this house has been put up for auction. It is specified that the three-story house is located in the village of Novomarievskaya on Yuzhnaya Street. According to information from the official auction website, the total area of the mansion is 232 square meters, and it is located on a plot of about 1500 square meters. The starting price at which the property is being sold is just over 9 million rubles (approx. $100,000 at current rates).
Stavropol region launches another survey on banning electric scooters
In the region, the issue of banning personal mobility devices has been raised once again. The head of the Stavropol region believes it is necessary to establish certain rules for using such vehicles. However, before implementing regulations, the authorities decided to find out the opinion of local residents.
In winter, electric scooters are rarely seen on the roads in the Stavropol region, but even in icy conditions, some do not give up such transport, despite the increased risk to their own health and the safety of other road users. What will happen during warmer periods? The region«s governor, Vladimir Vladimirov, has again raised this issue.
Despite the fact that official rules are already being created, the opinion of local residents was still decided to be sought. This time the survey is being conducted on the «Gosuslugi» (State Services) portal, and votes are accepted until February 4.
