Body of missing girl found in Tobolsk
In the city of Tobolsk, Tyumen Region, the search for a missing young woman has concluded. The girl, who was being sought by volunteers, relatives, and police, was found dead.
As reported by the press service of the search and rescue squad LizaAlert, the request to organize a search was received on January 19, 2026, around 11 p.m.
According to available information, the girl left home in the morning and did not return. LizaAlert volunteers from Tobolsk immediately set out for the search,the organization clarified.
The search operation began immediately. Volunteers, together with police officers and the missing woman«s relatives, inspected various areas of the city, including roads, garden non-commercial partnerships (SNT), and natural territories. Possible routes of the girl»s movement were simultaneously being checked.
Around 1 a.m., almost two hours after the search request was received, the girl was found dead in a natural environment. We extend our condolences to Anastasia«s family and loved ones,added the squad»s press service.
The exact circumstances of the incident are being established. Law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation into the death.
It is noted that in the region, the search continues for another young woman who went missing four months ago. Her fate remains unknown to this day.
