Black ice warning in Krasnodar: Avoid summer tires

In Krasnodar Krai, a storm warning remains in effect due to bad weather: in the next two days, rain with snow is expected, along with strong wind and black ice. The weather will worsen on February 2 and 3, when thermometers will show a slight below freezing (around 30°F) — by the end of the week, it will warm up.
On the morning of February 2, the press service of the Krasnodar city hall reported that all bridges and overpasses were treated with a sand-salt mixture overnight. Drivers with summer tires were asked not to drive into the city in such weather.

As reported by 93.RU, on the morning of February 2, a shift bus overturned on the highway near Anapa, and one person was injured. Currently, on the section from Novorossiysk to Temryuk, there is very strong wind that is blowing the sand-salt mixture off the roads. Because of this, the roadway is very slippery — drivers are asked to be more careful.
