The first week of February in Nizhny Novgorod will be snowy and very cold. For all upcoming days, the city will again be hit by snowfalls and sub-zero temperatures around -20°C (-4°F). The weather forecast for the coming days has been published on the website of the Upper Volga Hydrometeorology Service (Verkhne-Volzhskoye UGMS).

Monday, February 2: at night — -19°C (-2°F), during the day — -19°C (-2°F). Cloudy with clear spells, brief snow;

  • Tuesday, February 3: at night — -27°C (-17°F), during the day — -23°C (-9°F). Cloudy with clear spells. Occasional light snow;

  • Wednesday, February 4: at night — -26°C (-15°F), during the day — -19°C (-2°F). Cloudy. Occasional light snow;

  • Thursday, February 5: at night — -20°C (-4°F), during the day — -13°C (9°F). Cloudy, light snow;

  • Friday, February 6: at night — -19°C (-2°F), during the day — -15°C (5°F). Cloudy with clear spells. Light snow.

    Incidentally, the entire previous week the city battled snowfalls. Road services and utility workers are operating around the clock, but due to the bad weather, the city is drowning in snow.
